Michael Murray, co-founder and partner of C-Level Solutions, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate alignment, asset and resource optimization, process improvement and management, and profitability. Over his 33-year career at Union Pacific Railroad, he held a variety of key positions in real estate, marketing, strategic planning, and finance.
During his tenure, he was responsible for leading and developing capital investment strategies, strategic oversight of a $1 billion operating budget, and had fiduciary responsibility for reporting financial results to the SEC. His expertise also includes leading cross-function teams focused on mergers and acquisitions and supply cost reductions, as well as real estate lease portfolio management. In addition to his career at UP, Michael served as the VP/General Manager for one of the world's largest outsourced call center companies.
A relationship builder, Michael’s specialty is focusing on an organization’s people, processes, and products to identify areas of operational ‘fine-tuning’, making incremental improvements that fuel growth and ultimately increase profitability.
Now, alongside his C-Level Solutions partners, Michael uses his expertise to guide railroads, transportation-related companies, and large industrial manufacturers from internal assessment and alignment, to resource optimization and the implementation of profit-raising strategies.
Michael earned a BS/BA in Accounting from Creighton University and an MBA in Finance from Rockhurst University. He is an avid music lover and concert-goer, classic car enthusiast, and connoisseur of locally-produced beer and wine.
David White, co-founder and partner of C-Level Solutions, is an experienced continuous improvement and organizational process manager with nearly 30 years in the transportation industry.
David has held various positions at Union Pacific Railroad, working primarily in operations, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and process improvement. David deployed Hoshin Kanri strategy, a method for ensuring that the strategic goals of a company drive progress and action at every level, eliminating waste and increasing profits, and has extensive experience with methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma, Standard Work, A3 and PDCA problem solving processes. His far-reaching experience includes management of data analysis, DMAIC, data driven quality strategy, control charts, statistics, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), regression, and correlation.
Now partnered with fellow UP veteran Michael Murray, David is identifying opportunities and recommending solutions to railroad, transportation, and industrial manufacturing clients. With a result-driven approach, improving productivity and profitability is the company’s goal.
David has an AS in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Sierra College and a BS in IT Security/Cyber Security from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City. In his spare time, he enjoys time with his family’s four horses and is active in his church.
Michael Lewis, partner at C-Level Solutions, is a registered Communications Distribution Designer with Building Industry Consulting Service International and an experienced information technology and safety professional with over 30 years in senior leadership.
During his 27 years at Union Pacific Railroad, he held several positions of increasing responsibility and ultimately developed processes and procedures for the successful installation and maintenance of one of the largest privately-owned telecommunication networks in the country. Additional projects include leading the development of capital improvements and operational expense budgets for the railroad’s diverse multi-state network and guiding the safety efforts of the IT department’s 2,200 employees.
Now, alongside C-Level Solutions partners Michael Murray and David White, Michael will use his demonstrated history to partner with design engineers, installation teams and customers to construct, install, restore, and maintain large telecommunications networks.
Lewis is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a religious educator at his church. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and golf.
